Bandini Residence

This two-story craftsman home style was designed on an empty lot in Walnut Creek, CA. The floor plan makes efficient use of a 2,380-square-feet conditioned area and a two-car garage. Inside, the open floor plan allows for smaller, smarter spaces, enveloped in a simple elegant overlay. The front porch area opens on a greenbelt that gives the interior common areas a kind of tree-house feel, while a sculptural open tread stairway allows for singular views of the tree canopy beyond. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedrooms provide generous amounts of natural daylight and fresh air. Because the home’s palette of materials, hardware, and fixtures pair tried-and-true components with fresh alternatives, these elements collectively form a home that’s both personal and timeless.

From our first meeting, we knew Ben and his team were not only talented, but also would serve as the perfect partner in creating an overall vision for our new home. We were referred to BN Design Build from a neighbor who used them for work on their home. We were remodeling both our home and our Medical Office. We thought by doing both projects at the same time we could obtain better pricing and service from one company. Long story short, we had talked to a couple of other companies and though they seemed knowledgeable and/or good enough there was just a noticeable difference. BN Design Build is a first class organization, they are obsessive with details and follow up. There were problems and hiccups no doubt during each phase of each project but they handled them head on without hesitation. They did not deviate from the pricing they committed to at the onset of the project, which was another big and pleasant surprise. In closing, our home is beautiful and our office is elegant.
